Catering events require your signature on a banquet event order confirming your guarantee and food/beverages desired.

Catering Policy:

The Catering Department is happy to provide a range of services including break refreshments, meals, and bar service. Products and pricing vary depending on event needs, number of guests, and pre-existing responsibilities. Typically, break refreshments and bar service may be provided for 2,000 people or less. Meal service may be provided for 100 or less - buffet style, or 50 or less - plated style. Please contact the Catering Sales Manager to discuss all catering needs and service options.

All food and beverage services must be guaranteed with a signed Banquet Event Order indicating the requested services, desired serving times, and guaranteed number of guests. *A final service menu must be provided to the Catering Sales Manager no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the event. **A final guaranteed number of guests must be provided to the Catering Sales Manager no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the event. This guaranteed number will be used to determine food preparation, servicing needs, and final billing reports.

Please note that the Waco Convention Center Catering Department has exclusive license on the sale and service of any and all alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages may be provided either on a cash bar (guests pay) or open bar (host pays) system, or a combination thereof. Customers wishing to provide this service for their guests must contract security service through a State of Texas licensed peace officer and sign an Alcohol Service Agreement Form no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the event. SPECIAL NOTICE: Alcohol may not be brought into the facility by any customer, guest, or event participant or vendor; such action will result in the immediate termination of the event.
