FOOD & BEVERAGE
- No food or beverage products may be given away or sold
without prior approval of the Waco Convention Center Management.
- Motor Vehicle Conditions:
- Fuel tanks must be drained to less than 1/4 of tank's capacity.
- Fuel caps must be taped closed or fitted with a lock cap.
- Hot lead of batteries must be disconnected.
- Mats must be placed under all wheels.
- No tire protectant cleaner shall be applied inside the Waco Convention Center.
- No driving into the exhibit hall unless cleared by decorator or Waco Convention Center.
- All fire exits and aisle ways (minimum of 8 feet) must
remain clear at all times.
- Any precaution deemed necessary by the Fire Marshall or
Waco Convention Center Management must be adhered to completely.
- No open flames, cookers or fryers are allowed in the Convention
Center at any time.
- Candles are not allowed as decorations unless enclosed
in a glass lantern and placed on a mirror or other nonflammable
surface. All candles must meet Fire Mashall's approval in
order to be used during the event.
- Helium tanks in exhibit booths must be kept in a horizontal
position and the tanks must be chained to something stable.
Prior approval of the use of helium must be obtained from
Waco Convention Center Management.
- No signs or banners may be hung on the walls or ceilings
without prior approval of Waco Convention Center Management.
No nails, screws, staples, tacks, or pieces of tape may
be used to hang signs.
- Please bring your own dolly or hand truck to move your booth and exhibit materials to your booth space.
- For Chisholm or McLennan Hall shows, please unload at the back of Chisholm Hall. There is a ramp and loading dock for Chisholm Hall only, and a ramp that leads to the McLennan Hall as well.
- For Brazos Room shows, please unload at the back of the Brazos Room where there is a ramp.
- For Texas Room shows, please unload at Washington Avenue doors.
The Waco Convention Center DOES NOT ACCEPT, store, or ship freight or packages for exhibitors, delegates, or decorators. Freight must be shipped to and handled by the official show service contractor or decorator.
- General Services Contractors/Decorators will receive freight at a separate location and deliver to WCC during the contracted, pre-arranged move-in time.
- Any shipments that arrive before the contract date will be refused.
- General Services Contractors/Decorators will remove all freight and materials from the WCC immediately upon the conclusion of the event.
- If freight or other items are left after an event, a storage fee of $75 per pallet or part of pallet will be charged per day.
- Exhibitors are permitted to hand-carry items or use their own dolly to transport materials to and from their booth.
