Armstrong Browning Library
Located on the Baylor University campus, the Armstrong Browning Library celebrates the poetry of the British poets, Robert and Elizabeth Barrett Browning, through stained glass windows and a collection of the poets' memorabilia.
Dr Pepper Museum & Free Enterprise Institute
Located in the original 1885 bottling plant, the Dr Pepper Museum celebrates the history of Dr Pepper as well as the soft drink industry. Includes a gift shop, working soda fountain, and theatre.
Historic Homes
Waco has five historic homes, including four Greek Revival and one Italianate Villa style.
Homestead Heritage Traditional Crafts Village
This 510-acre Christian agricultural settlement, located a few miles outside Waco, offers fine handmade furniture and crafts for sale, demonstrations of traditional crafts such as pottery, blacksmithing, and stone grinding. The deli features homemade foods and is open for lunch.
Mayborn Museum Complex
Located on the Baylor University campus, this natural history museum complex includes the Gov. Bill & Vara Daniel Historic Village, seventeen hands-on discovery rooms in the Jeanes Discovery Center, a traveling exhibit hall, a theater,a museum store, and a café.
Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum
The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame & Museum is the official State Hall of Fame for the Texas Rangers Law Enforcement Agency. Exhibits feature the history and equipment of the Texas Ranger from Wild West days to the present.
Texas Sports Hall of Fame
The museum includes the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, Texas Tennis Hall of Fame, the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame, and the new Southwest Conference exhibit. Texas greats such as Nolan Ryan, Tom Landry, Babe Didrickson and many others are featured.
Waco Mammoth Site
Opened in December, 2009, this site is the nation's first and only recorded discovery of a nursery herd of Pleistocene mammoths, according to the National Park Service. The dig shelter that protects the bones creates an atmosphere of an art gallery. Natural light floods into the shelter from all directions and a suspended walkway provides a stunning overhead view of the mammoths.

 
Cameron Park Zoo
The Cameron Park Zoo opened its new Asian Forest exhibit in summer, 2009. Built as a ruined Asian temple, the exhibit features endangered orangutans and a Komodo Dragon. This natural habitat zoo also offers a herpetarium, African savanna, Brazos River Country exhibit, aquarium, gift shop and cafes.
Cameron Park
A gift of the William Cameron family, the 416-acre Cameron Park has delighted Wacoans and visitors since the early 1900's. The park hosts picnickers, hikers, joggers, equestrians and mountain bikers. Triathlons, mountain bike races, and other events are held annually at the park.
Carleen Bright Arboretum
Located in Woodway, one of Waco's suburbs, the 16-acre Arboretum showcases 6 acres of formal gardens, the Todd Willis Memorial Nature Trail, an amphitheater with gazebo, and an 1,800 sq. ft. rental facility, Whitehall Center.
Veterans Park
Located in Lacy Lakeview, one of Waco's suburbs, the park honors American veterans of all wars and features a touching 9/11 memorial.

 
Suspension Bridge and Riverwalk
Completed in 1870, this 470-foot single span suspension bridge was one of the longest in the world when built. Now open to foot traffic only, the bridge stands in the very heart of Waco. Festivals abound in Indian Spring Park, and the Riverwalk boasts a 4+ mile loop for runners that crosses the river at Herring Avenue.
Bear Habitat
Come see Baylor's bear mascots, Judge Sue Sloan and Judge Joy Reynolds, in a natural habitat featuring a waterfall, pools, caves, deadfall trees and digging areas.
Heritage Square
This downtown plaza features names of people and organizations who represent the foundation of the Waco community, both past and present.

 
Masonic Grand Lodge
The Masonic Grand Lodge is located in downtown Waco, a beautiful building that highlights the accomplishments and ideals of Freemasonry. It includes both a library and a museum featuring historic artifacts of famous Texas masons.
Red Men Museum
The Red Men Museum & Library, the official national museum of the Red Men fraternal order, houses an eclectic collection of historic pieces.
Scottish Rite Museum
This magnificent building offers three floors of exhibits on Freemasonry in Europe, North America and Texas.

 
TCV Winery
TCV Winery is a family owned winery located just outside Waco. TCV produces premium red and white wines, and specializes in Port wines.
Balcones Distillery
Recently opened in Waco, Texas is Balcones Distillery, Texas' only distillery making corn spirits. To visit the distillery, please call ahead; (254) 755-6003.
