3rd St. & Austin Ave.
Free Admission

Heritage Square, located in Downtown Waco, features shaded walkways, seating areas, water-play fountains and a beautiful sculpture featuring children at play. Throughout the Square are names of people and organizations who represent the foundation of the Waco community.

The original Heritage Square was destroyed when the tornado of 1953 ripped through downtown Waco. The re-built Heritage Square was opened in June 2001.
