The renovation and expansion project has begun! Roth Construction moved onto the site in early November and erected a construction fence around the north and east sides of the building. Demolition has also begun...

On Tuesday, October 20, the Waco City Council approved a contract with Roth Construction of Victoria, Texas for construction and renovation services at the Waco Convention Center.

The Convention Center may look like it is closed - if you approach it from the Washington Avenue side of the building...but we are open!

The Waco City Council will award the construction contract at their October 20 Council Meeting. As soon as that occurs I will post on this blog details about the construction company and the project. Of course the City Council meetings are open to the public and you can check out the City's website at www.waco-texas.com as well.
