Work to Date
The Waco Convention Center renovation project began in October, 2009. Please look at our photo gallery to watch the construction progress.The total project will cost $17.5 million and was financed with bonds approved by City of Waco voters in May, 2007.
Access For Visitors
Safety fencing surrounds most of the building. Visitors can access the building using the doors facing Franklin Avenue, to the right of the Freedom Fountain.
Convention Center Offices
Operations staff will be available in the Convention Center facility. Administrative offices for the Waco Convention & Visitors Bureau are now located on the second floor of City Hall, next to the Convention Center.Phone: (254) 750-5810 or (800) 321-9226
