The Waco Convention & Visitors Bureau sales & service staff are some of the brightest and most dedicated convention sales professionals in the state:

Carla is the Director of Sales and manages the Sales & Service department. Please contact her if you are not sure of who to contact and she will make sure you are taken care of. She also works with the website, databases, and technology.

Rhonda is the manager of Convention Services. She and Jason Elliott service all convention groups, after they have booked their convention in Waco. She will assist in answering any questions as the event is being planned.

Sandi works with the following types of locally-based groups: Baylor University (including fraternity and sorority events), corporate events, including holiday parties, political rallies and debates, consumer shows, tradeshows, and agricultural groups.

Christina works with Association, Government, and other groups with overnight stays. She represents the Waco CVB in the Society of Government Meeting Planners and Meeting Professionals International.

Jason works in two areas: servicing certain groups in the Waco Convention Center, and selling and servicing new sporting events for Waco.

April works with Waco Convention Center events that do not require hotel rooms. This includes banquets, wedding, quinceañeras, seminars, and workshops.

From obtaining proposals for Waco hotel rooms to preparing rate quotes, the Waco Convention & Visitors Bureau sales staff is available for any needs or special requirements that a group may have.

In addition to booking meetings at the Waco Convention Center, the sales staff can also work with other venues in Waco, including the Extraco Events Complex or hotel meeting space. They work with any type of event that requires hotel rooms, from Baylor school conferences to state association conventions to softball tournaments.
