Music and the Arts in Waco

For music lovers, Waco offers the Waco Symphony, musical performances at the Hippodrome Theatre and at area colleges, McLennan Community College and Baylor University.

If you're interested in live music at local clubs, watch the Waco Trib's listing on their Access Waco website.

The visual arts are alive and well at the Martin Museum of Art on the Baylor campus, the Ball Performing Arts Center on the McLennan Community College campus, and of course Art Center Waco. Additionally, there are several fine arts galleries on Austin Avenue and elsewhere in the city.

For performing arts, Waco offers the Waco Civic Theatre, the Hippodrome Theatre, Baylor Theater, and MCC Theatre.

We attended some free summer concerts downtown a few years back. Does Waco still have them? If so When?
